Werk je graag met je handen aan industriële brandersystemen en technische constructies? Heb je technisch inzicht en kun je nauwkeurig werken vanaf technische tekeningen?  Als Pijpfitter bij A de Jong in Schiedam werk je aan pijpleidingen en skids binnen het productieproces van industriële brandersystemen. Zo bouw je mee aan techniek die klaar is voor de toekomst.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Pijpfitter stel, buig en fit je pijpleidingen volgens technische tekeningen. Je werkt daarbij met RVS, koolstofstaal en andere materialen en gebruikt verschillende verbindingstechnieken, waaronder tubing-, flens- en lasverbindingen. Ook assembleer en installeer je skids volgens technische tekeningen en controleer en stel je de leidingsystemen binnen deze skids af.

Tijdens je werk stem je af met lassers, engineers en monteurs. Samen werk je aan de verschillende onderdelen binnen het productieproces. Ook denk je actief mee over verbeteringen in de productieprocessen.

Wie zoeken wij?

Je werkt nauwkeurig en zelfstandig, maar zoekt ook actief de samenwerking met collega’s. Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die:

• Aantoonbare ervaring heeft als pijpfitter in de machinebouw, scheepsbouw of procesindustrie.
• Ervaring heeft met het lezen en interpreteren van technische tekeningen en isometrieën.
• Technisch inzicht en affiniteit met mechanische werkzaamheden heeft.
• Zelfstandig en precies werkt en oog heeft voor detail.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden, een teamgerichte instelling en basiskennis van veiligheidsvoorschriften heeft.

Fitter

Is hands-on working with industrial burner systems and technical constructions something you like? Do you have strong technical insight and the ability to work accurately from engineering drawings?
As a fitter at A. de Jong in Schiedam, you will work on piping systems and skids that form part of our industrial burner systems. You will help build innovative technology that is ready for the future.

What will you do?

As a Pipe Fitter, you will assemble, bend and fit piping systems according to technical drawings. You will work with stainless steel, carbon steel and other materials, using a variety of connection techniques, including tubing, flanged and welded connections.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling, bending and fitting piping systems based on technical drawings.
• Working with stainless steel, carbon steel and other materials.
• Applying various connection techniques, including tubing, flanged and welded connections.
• Assembling and installing skids according to technical drawings.
• Inspecting, adjusting and commissioning piping systems within skid assemblies.
• Collaborating closely with welders, engineers and assembly technicians throughout the production process.
• Contributing ideas for continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Who are we looking for?

You are accurate and capable of working independently, while also enjoying collaboration with colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in machine building, shipbuilding or the process industry.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and isometric drawings.
• Strong technical insight and an affinity for mechanical work.
• An independent and detail-oriented working style.
• Good communication skills, a team-oriented mindset and a basic understanding of safety regulations.
